By 10th June, Nigeria’s covid19 figures increased by an additional 409 confirmed new cases across 16 states of the Federation.

Total cases now stand at 13,873 including 382 deaths from the breakout of the disease. Lagos continues to lead with 201 cases recorded.

Bauchi state news:

10th June Covid19 Report: Nationwide, Worldwide

The Bauchi State Deputy governor, Baba Tela who took ill with #COVID19 has fully recovered. The State’s Chairman, Primary Health Care Development Agency, Rilwan Mohammed made this known on Wednesday.

According to him, “today, the Deputy Governor tested negative for covid19 and has been discharged.”

Tela tested positive on the 3rd of June according to the state governor. He was consequently place in isolation.

 

Borno State covid19 news as at 10th June:

The state governor Babagana Zulum has ordered the reopening of schools in 3 local government areas. He promised to personally supervise student enrolment.

 

Kaduna State Covid19 Report of 10th June:
Mallam Ahmad Nasir El Rufai

Governor Nasir El Rufai has announced the reopening of worship centres on Fridays and Sundays only. This is so long as they comply with the state safety guidelines aimed at curbing the spread of the virus.

Barring further directives, churches are to hold services only on Sundays while he mosques are restricted to only Fridays.
