At least eleven people are reported dead in a tragic plane crash in Cameroon on Wednesday.
The plane was said to have veered off signal a few moments after it took off.
The country’s Transport Minister, Ernest Ngalle Bibehe, has confirmed the accident, noting that the plane crashed near Nanga Eboko, Centre Province yesterday.
He said in a statement that air traffic control lost contact with the plane which was later located in the forest near Nanga Eboko, around 150 kilometres (90 miles) northeast of the capital Yaounde.
According to Cameroon24, the tragic incident occurred at around 2 pm on Wednesday leaving no survivors.
Names of those onboard were confirmed as, “Dicka Endalle Estelle, Kesseng Jean Charles, Pewite Nkwenti Serge, Tchehou Tchakounte Serge, Asu Rudolf, Baban Andre, Kouayep Armand, Ndanjo Gadinga Celetsine Tchatua Ernest.”
