Lagos State report as at 13th May:
25 patients were discharged during the day. Among them is the state’s oldest #COVID19 patient, a 98-year old woman.
Among those discharged are 13 male and 12 female patients.
The latest number brings the total number of successfully managed patients in the state to 528.
Worldwide figures as at 14th May, 2020, 5:00am:

- Active cases: 2,471,760
- Closed cases (cases that had an outcome): 1,957,965

Senior WHO officials say that coronavirus may have come to stay just like malaria.
According to them, a vaccine may be found but the disease will remain with humans as medication may not completely rid humanity of it.
It is also reported that Chinese authorities in the city of Wuhan where the pandemic broke out, have continued to press for the testing of at least 11 million people after new infections were recorded on Wednesday.
