A 16-year-old girl who went missing yesterday, Sunday 23rd, her birthday has been found dead.
Reports say that Comfort Otega Benjamin was allegedly raped, strangled to death and dumped by the roadside.
On Sunday, before her corpse was discovered, Comfort’s sister, Magdalene took to social media to appeal to the public to help find her.
She urged anyone with useful information on her whereabouts to reach out to her. “Today is my little sister’s birthday, Comfort Benjamin. She left home yesterday and hasn’t returned…. Its exactly 24 hours now. We have not seen nor hear from her. If you have any information at all… please to not hesitate to reach me.”
Her friends also made the same call, yesterday.

By today information got out that she was found dead and apparently raped and strangled to death.

The young girl’s sister, Magdalene earlier announced that Comfort would be buried today.
