17th April covid-19 update indicates a further increase in the rate of infections. 

51 confirmed new cases of the disease was reported as at 10:10pm last night.

New infections by states:

  7. Ogun: 1
  8. Ekiti: 1

The NCDC in collaboration with the United Nations has commenced using Nollywood actors to sensitive citizens on the need for a few precautionary steps to avoid chances of being infected by the virus.

Within this week, Toyin Abraham and Banky W spoke about personal hygiene, the essence of hand washing and how to properly wash the hands.

Lagos update:

The Lagos State governor continues to encourage not just the health workers, but everyone who has contributed to “alleviating the pain of vulnerable Lagosians.”
