18th July Covid19 Report: Nationwide, Worldwide

Coronavirus Pandemic

Total confirmed cases of covid19 in Nigeria is 36,107 as at 18th July and since the outbreak of the pandemic in February.

The latest figure comes with the addition of 653 new cases reported across 28 states. Total samples tested so far is 209,446 with 20,391 patients still suffering from the disease.

14,938 were successfully managed and discharged. There were however, 778 fatalities.

9 deaths were recorded across 7 sates in Nigeria. They include-

World covid19 report as at 19th July, 2020:
Over 80 babies test positive for COVID-19 in one county as Texas cases surgeNueces County recorded 85 cases of COVID-19 in children under the age of one on Saturday. The news comes after Texas recorded 174 deaths and joined California, Florida and New York to reach 300,000 confirmed cases on Friday. 1,000 federal inmates have also tested positive in North Texas.Photo via @hypervocal

US reports that 85 babies tested positive to covid19 on the 18th July in Nueces  County as Texas cases surge.

The babies were all below the age of one.

The information comes after Texas recorded 174 deaths. Texas combines with California, Florida, and New York to total up to 300,000 confirmed cases posted on Friday alone.

Health Ministry reports that 1,000 federal inmates have equally tested positive to covid19 in North Texas.
