18th June COVID19 Nigeria report saw an increase of 745 new cases across 21 states. Lagos still leads with a wide margin of 280 new cases.
For once, Oyo and Ebonyi States records of new cases have spiked.

Oyo State news:
Immediate past governor of Oyo State is currently battling with covid19.
Rumours made the rounds yesterday that he had died but close aids and family members have debunked the rumours.
Osun State Covid19 Report as at 18th June:
The Osun State governor Adegboyega Oyetola has announced an extension of the relaxed lockdown by another 2 weeks.
He however, regretted the level of compliance with some of the laid down guidelines for the relaxed rules. They include the wearing of face masks in public places.
Governor Oyetola also threatened to shutdown “erring churches, mosques, markets, motor parks” to curb the spread of covid19.
National Assembly:
The National Assembly shut down its premises yesterday, 17th June following the death of one its members, Bayo Osinowo due to the dreaded coronavirus disease.
The premises will be closed for 2 weeks to allow for fumigation of the entire complex. A circular to that effect with reference number NASS/HR/MSD/CIR/003/IV138 dated 17th June was signed by the deputy director, Titus Jatau.
