In an an unusual development, 2 men have been caught on video assaulting 2 policemen in Lagos.
The men were seen trying to collect a gun from one of the officers forcefully.
The policeman, not wanting to shoot struggled to point the gun downwards in an apparent move to avoid an accidental discharge of his bullets.
Even when he fell to the ground, the men continued to wrestle him to collect the weapon.
The incident is said to have occurred at Meiran area of Lagos.
The Lagos State Police Command has reacted to the viral video.
Spokesperson of the Command, Benjamin Hundeyin said the two men have been arrested and that they would be prosecuted.
