Ahead of the 2023 presidential elections and as Permutations for an Igbo presidency continue, Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Umahi, Orji Uzor Kalu and Rochas Okorocha have signified interest in the number position.
There have been agitations within the APC that the next president be zoned to the south East.
