20th April covid-19 update reports 38 new cases of covid-19 as at 11:10 pm.
Curiously, unlike the usual high figures and particularly the 70 new infections picked up in Lagos on Sunday, no new case is reported in Lagos today.

Lagos: state covid-19 update, 20th April, 11:10 pm:
The daily food kitchen initiative of the state government which started 1 week ago is in full swing. The governor announced that the strategy is meant to alleviate the “inconveniences experienced by the less privileged.”
Governor Sanwo-Olu stated that “it is encouraging to see the children, senior citizens and the youths” benefitting from the program.
According to him, Onikan, Obalende, Ikoyi, are already in full swing. Each location has several food vendors for the daily deliveries. They also take turns to cook. The allowed time slots ensure orderliness of the process.
