Analysis of cases across states on 21st June:
A new covid19 antiviral drug in the offing:
An and antiviral medication developed by Gilead Sciences is set to be tried on paediatric patients.
Remdesivir aims to reduce the recovery time line of covid19 patients 15 to 11 days.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the scientists said the the medication will be trialed on at least 50 patients with mild to severe cases of the disease.
New-borns to adolescents will be trialed and observed.
