23rd April covid-19 update reveals 108 new cases of infections with Lagos still with the highest figure. Total cases have climbed to 981. The report is as at 11:30 pm.

Governor Sanwo-Olu taking delivery of donated items

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu took delivery of 6 ambulances, respiratory masks, PPEs and other safety gear on behalf of the South West States. 

The items were donated by the NNPC group and the Independent Petroleum Producers Group (IPPG). They will contribute to materials needed to combat the dreaded disease in all the mentioned states.

Governor Sanwo-Olu thanked the 2 groups on behalf of the 6 states: According to him: 

On behalf of the other South West Governors of Ogun, Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo and Osun States, I commend the donors for this gesture.

He also “restated our commitment to work with all partners and the Federal Government to end this scourge as quickly as possible in our country.”
