As at 23rd July 2020, Nigeria recorded 38,948 confirmed cases of covid19. 16,061 cases were successfully managed and discharged while 22,054 remain ill.
833 deaths have so far been recorded since the breakout of the pandemic.
New infections recorded on the 23rd of July are 604 spread across 21 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Federal government has officially refuted the efficacy of the Madagascar herbal mixture, Covid Organics as a cure for covid19.
The information was given at Thursday’s briefing by the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire.
According to him, the mixture showed no evidence that it had real curative properties against covid19.
