Nigeria’s covid19 numbers have climbed to 23,298 with an additional 684 cases as at 26th June. The new confirmed cases are spread across 18 states of the federation.

Local remedies update as at 26th June:
Minister of state for health, Dr Olorunimbe Mamora announced that since no formal medication is available for the treatment of #COVID19, government requested traditional medicine practitioners to come up with treatment.
According to the minister, 19 people presented remedies.
He said this during a press briefing at the Presidential Task Force on #COVID19.
Speaking further, he added that since no remedy is expected before 2021, Nigeria will be relying on local treatment. In his words, “19 of them participated and came up with the remedies which we have since transferred to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
