As at 26th July,Nigeria has recorded 40,532 confirmed cases of covid19. 555 new cases were reported from 18 states.
17,374 have been successfully managed and discharged while 22,300 are still active. Unfortunately, 858 patients were lost to the killer disease.

Thirteen deaths were recorded on the 26th of July by 5 states. They include-
- Edo: 5
- Niger: 3
- Rivers: 2
- Cross River: 2
- Ebonyi: 1
Worldwide covid19 report as at 26th July:
North Korea finally, officially reported a suspected covid19 incident. The patient is reported to have defected to South Korea three years ago.
On his return, he exhibited symptoms of the disease. The development had the country’s leader, Kim Jong-un holding an emergency meeting with top officials. He also imposed a lockdown on the border city of Kaesong.
Kim has also activated a “maximum emergency system” to contain any spread of the disease.
A very secretive state, North Korea had not reported a single case of the disease even if analysts insist that it is unlikely.
