Lagos State 27th April #COVID19 report:
The governor took the occasion of yesterday’s address to thank the heroes of the combat against covid-19.
He reassured that the disease will be defeated because of their efforts. Sanwo-Olu also encouraged citizens to bear the inconveniences of the lockdown as it is nothing compared to the disaster that will occur if the state gets careless.
His Speech:
“You are all heroes and I cannot thank you enough.
“I want to measure you all that we are doing everything we can to tackle this virus in our great city.
“We will get through this and we will learn from the lessons from covid-19, so we’re more resilient in the future.
“This virus has brought nothing but disruption and discomfort into our daily lives, but the inconvenience we might be experiencing right now is nothing compared to the disastrous repercussions we would be battling if we allow f #COVID19 to gain an upper hand in our dear state.
