28th May covid19 report shows an additional 182 confirmed cases of covid19 across 16 states of Nigeria. This brings the total confirmed infections so far to 8,915.

Kogi State report, 28th May,2020:

Kogi State government authorities have remained resolute about having any resident get officially tested for #COVID19 by the authorities of the National Centre for disease control.

NCDC officials had on Wednesday reported 2 index cases but the governor and the state commissioner for Health dispute the report, insisting that there is no coronavirus whatsoever in the state.

According to the Health Commissioner, “Kogi State is till this moment, covid19 free. We have developed full testing capacity and have conducted hundreds of tests so far which returned negative,” Saka Audu told reporters.
