The 30th of May, 2020 saw an unprecedented 553 confirmed new cases of covid19 across 15 states of the country. The new figure brings to 9,855, the total confirmed infections since the outbreak of the disease.

Breakdown of new infections by states:
  1. Lagos: 378
  2. FCT: 52
  3. Delta: 23
  4. Edo: 22
  5. Rivers: 14
  6. Ogun: 13
  7. Kaduna: 12
  8. Kano: 9
  9. Borno: 7
  10. Katsina: 6
  11. Jigawa: 5
  12. Oyo: 5
  13. Yobe: 3
  14. Plateau: 3
  15. Osun: 1
Highlights of total #COVID19 cases as at 30th May, 2020:
  1. Samples tested: 60,825
  2. Confirmed cases: 9,855
  3. Currently active: 6,726
  4. Recovered and discharged: 2,856
  5. Deaths: 273

Lagos State covid19 report as at 30th May, 2020:

The state reports a total of 21 fully recovered patients on the 30th of May. They include 6 females and 15 males who were successfully managed and discharged from isolation centres in the state.

Isolation centres where patients were discharged from:
  1. Mainland Infectious diseases Hospital, Yaba: 6
  2. Onikan: 11
  3. Agidingbe: 3
  4. Gbagada: 1

All the patients returned negative after 2 consecutive tests.

Total number of cases that have been successfully managed and discharged since the breakout of the disease in the state now stands at 875.

 

Worldwide covid19 report as 31st May, 2020:
  1. Total cases: 6,,160,299
  2. Deaths: 371,006
  3. Recovered: 2,738,286
  4. Currently active: 3,051,007
  5. Closed cases (cases that had an outcome): 3,109,292
    • Recovered and discharged: 2,738,286 (88%)
    • Deaths: 371,006 (12%)
