Kogi State covid19 report by 29th May 2020

The Governor of Kogi State insists there is no cover19 in his state.

However, his staunch critic and former Nigerian Senator Dino Melaye regrets the governor’s position. He insists that he knows at least 1 person suffering from the disease and does not understand why the governor is putting the entire residents of the state at risk.

According to Melaye, “I want to announce that covid19 is real and authentic and cannot understand why any responsible government will want to deny and invariably kill her citizens.

Speaking further, Dino Melaye said that “One of the cases is from Kabba and the victim is personally known to me. I cannot be part of those who will play politics with the lives of my people.

“Covid19 is real but not a death sentence, if handled early enough.

“Family members of the Kabba who got a referral to Abuja from the Federal Medical Centre in Lokoja and all those who had contact with him should please surrender themselves for a test so as to curtail the spread..”
