According Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu:

“This year, COVID-19 has disrupted our businesses, schools and general way of life.
But for our students in SSS3 and Technical Study 3, (TEC3) we have some important news.

In line with the updated guidelines from the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, they will resume on August 3 to prepare for their mandatory exams.

This resumption will be strictly monitored and must follow established public health guidelines and protocols in the State.

The permission to re-open only applies to day-schools, boarding activities are excluded.

School Authorities are expected to spend the period between now and the day of re-opening to put in place infrastructure, protocols and essential items required to comply with all hygiene, safety and physical distancing requirements for their staff and pupils.

Instructions for JSS3 will come as soon as we reach a conclusion on our consultations.
