4th May Lagos State #COVID19  report:

The NCDC says it is working with the @LSMOH

and other partners to operationalise sample collection sites across Local Governments for covid19 diagnosis.

According to the the disease control agency, it is part of its “strategy to ensure that cases are detected early.”

In another development, the gradual easing of the lockdown directive by the state and federal governments commenced on Monday 4th April.

While most of the private sector organisations complied with the rules, commercial vehicles largely flouted them.

The vehicles were meant to carry only 60% loading capacity but nearly all of them were loaded to 100% capacity. This prompted Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to make another announcement reminding Lagosians of the pattern of operation.
