The self-confessed killer of 5-year-old Hanifa Abubakar has described himself as loving, caring and compassionate.
Abdulmalik Tanko used the description to update his Facebook profile, a development that caught the attention of social media users.
Tanko told reporters when he was paraded that he is a graduate of the Bayero University, Kano, a description also seen in his bio.
He disclosed that Financial crisis made him commit the crime and added that he initially demanded a N6 million ransom from Hanifa’s parents knowing that they would certainly negotiate.
When they eventually were able to pay N100,000, he used N71,000 to pay staff salaries and take care of some pressing needs in the other branches of his school.

The school proprietor, in his Facebook bio further described himself as “loving, self-sacrificing, imaginative and expressive.”
Tanko has been arraigned before a magistrate’s court in Kano after confessing to killing the 5-year-old lovely girl. He was also remanded at a correctional centre along with his 2 accomplices.
He told reporters that he has 3 biological daughters and in one of his Facebook posts, prayed Allah to help him raise them in ways pleasing to his creator.
