50 Cent to Release a Movie Series on Hushpuppi

American rapper, actor and producer, Curtis James Jackson III, better known by his professional brand as 50 Cent has revealed plans to release a movie series based on the Nigerian internet fraudster, Ramon Abass, popularly known as Hushpuppi.

A United States District Court sitting in the Central District of California on Monday sentenced Hushpuppi to 11 years and three months.

The fraudster was found guilty of laundering proceeds of a school financing scam, business email compromise and other fraudulent cyber schemes.

Hushpuppi is expected to spend only nine years in prison, having spent two of the eleven years sentence in jail during the trial.

The convict was arrested in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in June 2020 and extradited to the United States on July 3.

He was arrested for defrauding over 1.9 million people, the majority of them being Americans.

The 37 year-old had earlier pleaded guilty to the charges filed against him during the trial.

50 Cent who shared the pictures of the convict on his Instagram account on Wednesday noted that he is working on a movie project based on Hushpuppi’s story.

The G-Unit Records founder wrote in the caption, “For my scammers, I gotta do this one. Hushpuppi series coming soon! GLG, Green Light Gang I don’t miss. #Bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv.”
