The Commissioner for Health, Lagos State announced the death of a patient whom he said died at a private hospital.
Statement from the Lagos State Ministry of Health:
“We lost a # COVID19 patient; a 36 year old Nigerian male who died in a private facility on 4th April, 2020.
“Total number of #COVID19 patients who have died are now 2
“A case was evacuated bringing total evacuated to 2. #StayAtHome #staysafe #

“Citizens are advised against stigmatizing the discharged patients. We need to do all we can to support them to get over the experience as soon as possible. #TogetherWeCanBeatCovid19″
