Lagos State 5th May covid19 report:
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced that 60 covid19 patients were discharged on May 5.
31 were discharged from the Yaba Infectious Diseases Hospital, 19 from Ibeju Lekki and 10 from the Eti-Osa Isolation centres.
These bring the total number of successfully managed cases since the breakout of the disease to 321.
Nevertheless, the governor cautioned that the success rate was not an excuse to relax precautionary measures. According to him, anyone who can avoid stepping out of the house should do so. However, care must be taken to avoid contracting the infection by masking up and maintaining social distancing.
Worldwide covid19 report, 6th May, 5:10am
A really scary footage appeared from Brazil yesterday with 13,000 graves dug and filling up with dead victims of the killer disease every 5 minutes.
Reports say that medics are hardly able to test or manage patients as they are overwhelmed with the shear numbers. People drop dead in large numbers in quick succession.
Anyone who takes ill, suffers alone, dies and gets buried.
