6th April COVID-19 update has been published by the The NCDC and the Lagos State government.
The update as at 9:30pm reports a total confirmed cases of 238. This is comes additional 6 new cases compared with 232 cases as of yesterday.

6th April covid-19 Lagos update:
It was a joyful day for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as his battle to contain the deadly infections continue to pay off daily.
With zero new case, additional 2 people discharged today, Lagos now has 31 discharged patients. The governor issued a statement to residents about the cheering news.
He thanked the health workers and admonished Lagosians to co-operate with them and obey the advisories issued by the team
Governor Santo-Olu’s letter:
Dear Lagosians,
I have more great news for you from our Infectious Disease Hospital. Today, additional two female patients have recovered fully, having tested negative twice consecutively. They have been discharged from the facility.
With the newly discharged patients, we now have a total of 31 people that have fully recovered from COVID-19 in Lagos and discharged to join the community.
We are full of appreciation to the front line health workers, working hard during this difficult time. Their successful strides in this war against COVID-19 brings us joy and hope.
I therefore enjoin citizens to continue to listen and obey health advisories issued by our health experts as they coordinate resources to beat COVID-19.
OI have no doubt whatsoever that we have the upper hand in this war. We are winning and we will eventually win.
