7th June covid19 update saw an additional 260 new infections across 19 states of the country. This brings the total infections since the breakout of the disease in Nigeria to 12,486.
7th June also marks the 101st day since the index case surfaced in February, 2020.
Latest figures appear to indicate that Lagos has curbed the rate of infections as it loses the traditional 1st position to Abia State, followed by the FCT.
However, attention will be given to this development going forward.
