Analysis of cases across the states:
The NCDC reports that the Africa Centre for Disease Control (@AfricaCDC) yesterday provided additional lab equipment and testing reagents to Nigeria.
Lagos State covid19 update as at 7th May, 2020:
48 patients were successfully managed and discharged from the Yaba, Lekki, Onikan and the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) isolation facilities.
Breakdown of facilities with discharged patients:
- Mainland IDH: 28
- Yaba: 6
- Lekki: 1
- Onikan: 1
- Lagos University Teaching Hospital: 13
All patients tested negative after 2 consecutive covid19 tests. 7th May update brings the total number of successfully managed cases in the state to 406.
