Nigeria’s total confirmed covid19 figure now stand at 30,249 with an additional 460 new cases reported on 8th July, 2020. The new cases were posted from 21 states.
12,373 patients were successfully managed and discharged while 17,195 are currently active.
Lagos has retained the top position as the state with the highest number of new virus infections.

#COVID19Nigeria state news:
The Minister of Education Mr Adamu Adamu has canceled the planned resumption of schools for final year students of unity schools.
According to him, it is safer to lose an academic session than expose the children to the disease and lose lives.
Adamu Adamu said this after the Federal Executive Council meeting that held on the 8th of July.
