8th May covid19 update shows 386 new cases of the infectious disease across 20 states with Lagos still leading followed by Kano. Total confirmed cases now stand at 3,912.

48 patients were once again discharged from across the state comprising 32 males and 16 females. They were successfully managed at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Yaba, Lekki, Onikan and the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) isolation centres.

Each 48 patients underwent 2 consecutive tests that returned negative. The new report brings the total number of successfully managed cases since the outbreak of the disease in the state to 406.

  2. Lekki: 6
  3. Onikan: 1
  4. LUTH: 13
