11th May covid19 report shows an additional 242 new confirmed cases of the disease across 14 states of the country. Fewer cases are seen out of the FCT.

11th May news from states:

There have been unexplained deaths from Kano and Jigawa.

Both states governors remain adamant that the deaths are not covid19 related.

100s of Almajiri boys also continue to be transported between states. Most of the boys tested positive to the dreaded disease. Fears are that transmission may skyrocket as they get packed in buses most of the time.

Churches have also actively thrown their weight behind the fight against the disease with Pastor Tunde Bakare donating 2 of his facilities as isolation centres.

The Catholic Church in the country also gave up its 425 hospitals and clinics to be used as treatment centres for patients of #COVID19.
