General Overseer of the MFM: "Church Services to Continue Online"

“Members are hereby informed that the Ministry has not resumed church services but will announce the opening date at the appropriate time.

“We’re hereby happy to inform you all that you can now join our services on your favourite platforms.

“Starting from the 10th of June, 2020.

“God bless you all.”

The chairman of the church’s Media Committee, Pastor Oladele Bank-Olemoh also said that the services will air live on television stations. Physical presence at all parishes remain suspended he adds.

According to him, the General Overseer has taken into consideration, the safety implications of re-opening MFM. He reminded members that services have not resumed yet, saying adequate notice will be given before resumption.

In Bank-Olemoh’s words:

“The General Overseer, Dr Olukoya considered the safety implications of re-opening the service in view of its crowded services, prayer and deliverance nature, vibrancy and the peculiarity of her worship modes.

The church’s announcement comes in the wake of the federal and state governments’ approval that worship centres may resume on the 19th and the 21st of June. This is so long as stringent precautionary measures are taken to avoid escalated cases of #COVID19

The MFM prayer city and the headquarters at Onike, Yaba is home to thousands of worshipers at each of its services.
