Tunde and Wunmi Obe, 22 Years as Man and Wife

Tunde and Wunmi Obe, Nigeria’s celebrity couple celebrated 22 years as man and wife yesterday, 26th June.

The duo have held the entertainment scene as singers, entrepreneurs, television personalities and actors. They are one of the few entertainment celebrities who have waded the storms of life together as man and wife.

They both began their entertainment careers as undergraduates. At that time, Wunmi was studying Philosophy at the University of Lagos while Tunde was studying History at the Lagos State University.

The couple got married on the 26th of June, 1988.

Unlike many of their ilk, it is amazing how they have maintained a stable marriage relationship devoid of rumours and scandals.

Overjoyed at the feat, creative art lover, Wunmi Obe announced the big day on her Instagram page:

The show business couple are known by their stage name as T W O. When not entertaining, they live and inseparable but quiet life together. Theirs has become a reference point for aspiring couples who want to stay together for better for worse.

Tunde and Wunmi Obe have 3 children between them: Modesayo, Ricardo, Andre.
