Mrs Aisha Buhari, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and wife of President Muhammad Buhari is reported to have been flown out to Dubai for medical treatment.
Sahara Reporters revealed her trip to the United Arab Emirates today.
The reports say that Aisha Buhari was in Lagos to commiserate with the wife of the late Governor of Oyo State, Florence Ajimobi.
The First Lady had had a nagging neck pain for close to 2 weeks before her trip. She had completed a 14-day self isolation with no relief.
On her return from Lagos, the pains became unbearable forcing her to be moved to Dubai. Sahara Reporters say that Mrs Buhari is responding to treatment and would be staying to take adequate bed rest.
At the breakout of the pandemic, her daughter, who had only just returned from the UK had to undertake self isolation for 14 days. She was confirmed negative at the end of the isolation period.
The former Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari had taken ill with #COVID19 but did not survive due to underlying ailments.
President Muhammadu Buhari has remained in good health since the onset of the pandemic.
