Grammy Award winning singer, Cardi B is officially filed for a divorce with husband, Offset after 3 years of marriage.

Reports monitored on several American news platforms confirm through online records that Cardi B filed an end to the marriage in Fulton County, Ga on the 14th of September.

She had a 2-year-old daughter named Kulture with Offset.

Court documents say that Cardi B and her legal team declared that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” with absolutely “no prospects for a reconciliation.” 

She has requested for child support from Offset and hopes the divorce “will be settled by agreement of the parties.”

After a secret wedding in September 2017, there have been incidences of infidelity on the part of Offset to the extent that Cardi B insisted they were going their separate ways in December 2018.

Offset accepted his flaws and threw a surprise ‘Take Me Back” party. At the party, he publicly apologised to his wife to and they both got back together.

Speaking on the January edition of Vogue magazine, Cardi B said that “when me and my husband got into our issues, you know he cheated and everything, and I decided to stay with him, a lot of people were mad at me. A lot of women felt disappointed in me.” 

On his part, Offset said they both had to do a lot work behind the scenes to get to a better place in their relationship.

In December 2019, a series of cheating rumours trended but Cardi B was not deterred form focussing on her career. With Offset’s unending cheating escapades, Cardi B says she has no choice but file for divorce to keep her sanity.
