Pictures of the 344 Kankara school boys who were released last night by their kidnappers have been released.

They show the boys covered in dust but obviously very happy to be reuniting with their parents.

The children were being conveyed home in military trucks from Tsafa in Zamfara State.

Governor Bello Masari told the Nigerian Television Authority last night that the boys were moved to Tsafa by their captors after they were kidnapped.
