The Chief Press Secretary to the Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Akosile announced this evening that fire has engulfed the Ketu Plank Market.

The market is located at Demuren Street. According to Akosile, the fire “started from on part of the market and has destroyed a lot of goods.

He added that emergency responders have contained the fire, thereby averting “further damage.”
