Cross Over Night Service to End by 11:00pm, 31st December – CAN, Lagos State

The Lagos State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has directed all churches to close cross over night services by 11:00pm on the 31st of December.

The directive aims to comply with the State and Federal government curfew which commences at 12:00 midnight and ends at 4:00pm daily.

The Association assures members that arrangements are on to ensure Christian faithfuls hook on to live broadcasts from their homes.

This directive is contained in a statement signed last night by Bishop Stephen Tunde Victor Adegbite, CPJ and made available to newsmen.

Bishop Adegbite is the Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lagos Chapter.

According to him, “As part of our responsibility and as a law abiding organisation and in response to the appeal made to us by the State Government, we hereby direct that all churches should ensure their services on 31st December 2020, end at 11:00pm so as to allow attendees get to their respective homes and places of rest on or by 12:00 midnight when the curfew will start.
