STILL ONGOING ! Rival Cult Gangs Clash at Ikosi Ketu (video)

There has been a gruesome rival cult gang clash at the Ikosi Road, Ketu area of Lagos for the past 48 hours.

Varying reports give reasons for the clash to include a dispute between the Obas of Ikosi and Ketu over the ownership of Ketu Market.

Other reports say that it is a battle of supremacy between the cult gangs.

The melee comes barely 48 hours after the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu read the riot act on cultism and gangsterism in the State.

Police are reported to be having a hard time containing the cult gangs, members of whom were armed with broken bottles, machetes and guns.

Reports also say that BRT passengers and other commuters were attacked and robbed.

Eyewitness reports from the scene:

Around 6:25am Cultists, attacked passengers waiting on the BRT queue at Ketu Bus stop. There have been fights at Ketu, Ikosi & Mile12 over the night. They attacked with knives, cutlasses, & rob harmless people, according to reports.
