The bride of a Nigerian Airforce Officer who was killed in a gun battle with armed bandits at Ungwan Laya near Birnin Gwari on Saturday, February 13 has gotten married to his younger brother.
The late Abubakar was killed after he shared pre-wedding photo shoot, three weeks before his wedding.

He was buried on Sunday, Valentines day, 14th of February, day after his death in his home town, Ungwan Dosa in Kaduna North.
Abubakar’s bride has now gotten married to Suleiman, his younger brother in Kaduna. The ceremony took place on Saturday, 20th of March.
One of the Airforce Officer’s friends, Hashim, Abbakar Zaki shared the photos of the ceremony. According to Zaki, “Suleiman is younger than Abubakar, the soldier who spent a few days on the way to Birnin Gwari, which is remains two weeks to marry, may God accept hs life by protecting his country’s dignity. That’s how God is doing. Suleman has groomed the girl. May God blessed your marriage. And may Allah lighten his grave, amen.”
