Soldiers from the Nigerian Army are currently engaged in fierce gun battle with the Eastern Security Network at Nsukka, Enugu State.
Sahara Reporters says there has been tension in and around the town since Wednesday.
Reports say that the soldiers decided to take the battle to the ESN in their hideout.
A resident of the community said that the town is completely deserted as many people fled to neighbouring communities.
According to him, “Soldiers of the Nigerian Army are currently locked in a gun battle with ESN boys in Nsukka. They have been clashing since yesterday evening and some parts of th town are still tense. Heavy shooting presently going on.
