There were reports earlier today, Thursday that a vehicle among the convoy of Governor Seyi Makinde had crushed a young child.
The incident is alleged Mohave happened when the convoy was taking th Governor to Ogbomoso for a Peoples Democratic Party rally.
The incident was reported to the governor at the rally and investigations instituted immediately.
It was later discovered that a Toyota Matrix killed the child. The vehicle is reported to have experienced a break failure before it ran over the toddler.
Relieved that he was not responsible for the accident, but nonetheless remorseful about the child’s death, Governor Makinde posted the update on his social media handles.

Our preliminary investigation revealed that the child was hit by an individual driving a Toyota Matrix car who lost control of his vehicle. He was not part of my convoy.“
