Peter Okoye of the defunct P-Square has bragged about his success to his family and twin brother.
The twin brothers parted ways around 2016 over a disagreement about the role of their manager. It was also around the time they both got married and later lost their mother.
Peter Okoye soon went solo and forayed into acting, movie production and music production. He also bagged several ambassadorial deals.
Paul on his side continued in the music and entertainment space adopting the brand name of KingRudy.
However, in a recent post, Peter said that he is far better off alone as he is doing better and has gotten richer without his brothers.
According to him, “Team P ! What were they thinking ??That I wasn’t going to survive alone ? They just can’t stand the fact I am richer now and doing well for myself. Pained ! And this post is for them and them alone ! Just watch them referring this post to my family as usual. Odes ! Watch start preaching !”
In a May 2019 interview with Nancy Isime, Peter revealed that he has always wanted to go solo and wished he did it much earlier.
He insisted he chose his wife and kids over his brothers and anyone who feels bad about it could go ahead and stop listening to his music.
He painted that his wife and kids are his family.
