An indigene of Oba has taken to social media to show off a bundle of N100000 he picked at the burial ceremony of Obi Cubana’s mother.
The lavish display of opulence has remained the talk of the town since the event which took place over the weekend.
The billionaire’s friends graced the occasion to show their loyalty with various eye-popping gifts. A total of 246 cows were given to chief-mourner Cubana.
Villagers say the leftover meat from the cows slaughtered will last them for days.
Obi Iyiegbu, also known as Obi Cubana lost his mother in December 2020 and laid her to rest on the 16th of July 2021 in his home town, Oba, Anambra State.
The occasion was graced by top politicians from across the country, renowned entertainers, socialites, ace nollywood actors, politicians, top government functionaries and business moguls.
The man in the video who is yet to be identified said it was indeed a good time to be a citizen of Oba.
He proudly displayed the bundle of N100000 which was not even opened saying he picked it just that way as the ‘big men’ flung them to lucky villagers.
