The groomsmen of President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf yesterday, gifted the driver that conveyed them to the wedding venue wit the sum of N500000.
The crowd-funding surfaced on Friday with the excited young men urging each other to give more.
Son of the first family, Yusuf Buhari, officially wedded Zahra, the daughter of the Emir of Bichi, Nasir Ado Bayero in an elaborate ceremony attended by Nigeria’s who-is-who as well as international dignitaries.
August 20 was a memorable occasion for the people of Kano State who beseeched the Emir of Bichi’s Palace for the wedding Fatiha.
BBcC Hausa reports that the dowry paid for Zahra was N500000.
Now famously tagged the presidential royal wedding, it attracted Yusuf and Zahra’s friends from across the world.
One of their fiends from Ghana donated $100 to the driver.
