One of Nigeria’s most prominent actresses, Rachel Oniga was finally buried today, August 27th in Lagos State.
The award-winning actress was born on the 23rd of May, 1957 in Ebute Metta, Lagos State.
She passed on on Friday, 30th July at the age of 64 from a hear disease, according to close family members.
Rachel Oniga’s son, Tunji Oniga, who spoke on behalf of the family said her burial was fixed for the 26th and the 27th of August, 2021.
Reports say that Rachel died after a movie shooting and was initially thought to have contracted covid-19 until her senior sister issued a statement on behalf of the family regarding the cause of death.
