(UNGA) was greeted with massive protests by separatist groups and human rights activists.

Expectedly, there were counter protests by those alleged to be in support of Buhari’s present administration.

Videos made the rounds on social media alleging that the pro-government protests were stage-managed with paid participants.

Omokri, in his Instagram post alleged that the pro-government groups of protesters were mostly non-Nigerians but blended well for the narrative because of their skin colour. He said that some were paid as much as $500.

The rights activist said that many people left their jobs to join him in the protest which he adjudged as largely successful.

Regrettable, according to the former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, a strange man trailed him to his hotel but was stopped by his personal body guard.

The guard was hit severally with iron bars and appears to have been injured in the leg.
