An old woman has been spotted wearing the Biafra outfit on a street in the South East Nigeria. She is apparently staging a lone protest as she dares the heavily armed military men not to lay their hands on her.
This comes 2 days after veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu was rough-handled and arrested by the military. He was later, allegedly invited by the Department of State Services.
Nigerians have been asking the rational behind the harassment of the peaceful loan protest by the actor while bandits, herdsmen and terrorists are on the rampage in many parts of the county, killing, maiming and sacking communities.
The old woman in today’s protest is seen telling members of the public that she is enraged to be told to leave her community by the armed soldiers who are not even from “Biafra land.”
She said that is it is inconceivable that one of the soldiers is threatening to kick and flog her.
It is uncertain how the situation was handled after the viral video.
