Anambra Election: Voters Frustrated with Faulty BVA System (photos)

Voters at many polling units in the ongoing Anambra governorship election have expressed how frustrated and disappointed they are over the faulty Biometric Voter Accreditation Systems.

The voters told journalists that they were getting tired and might return to their houses if nothing is done about the situation.

Voting process had commenced at Unit 014 in Ward 1,  Onitsha, Unit 07 and 15 in Ward 5, Awambia, Awka South Local Government Area.

Sadly, like many other units, the presiding officers lamented bitterly that the BVAS were not working properly.

One of the officers identified as Arinze said the complaint has been lodged with the RAC who came to fix the system.

A frustrated voter had complained that nothing is working as well at PU 002,Ward 13 Isuofia, Aguata LGA.

Nothing is working here. It is puzzling,” says a voter at PU 002, Ward 13 Isuofia, Aguata LGA.

However,Governor Willie Obiano has cast his vote alongside his wife, Ebelechukwu Obiano. The couple voted around 9:25am at their polling unit locate inside Eri Primary School, Polling Unit 004, in Aguleri, Anambra East LGA.
