Eight children have been found dead have been found dead inside a car at the Jah-Michael community in Badagry, Olorunda Local Government Area of Lagos State.

Reports say the children, aged between 4 and years were found dead on Thursday, 4th of December, 2021 after they were allegedly trapped inside the car parked by one of the parents.

A resident of the area said that the children very likely died of suffocation as all the windscreens were wound up.

The resident explained that the lifeless bodies of the toddlers were discovered a few hours later when a parent came looking for her ward.

According to her, “The car owner parked his car outside the compound and his kids along with their fiends, eight of them entered the car presumably to play.

“It seems the child lock was on and the car could only be opened from outside, so they died due to heat. Although some people believe there is more to the story.”
